Pizza Review
For starters-Great pizza! Most likely the best in Houston at this point but a few issues. Pepperoni Madness Lots, lots of flop. Not sure if the oven wasn’t hot enough as we were the first customers and there wasn’t sufficient heating time or something else. The top was amazing but a soft foundation. Funky little spot with a cool vibe but very much catering to the artsy 20-something crowd (nothing against this age group but they won’t sustain your business). Portobello salad was great as well but all served with cheap paper plates and even cheaper plastic utensils and paper napkins!! No cold glass for a beer - 😳. $40+ with tip for 1 personal pizza, 1 salad, 1 coke & 1 beer which is ok but a ‘cheap’ experience. Place was empty which was a shame for a really good pizza. With a few very small adjustments this place could be world class. Put the pizza on a cool, unique board (yes wood, not an industrial metal pan), get some real utensils/plates, give me a real napkin or at least a real paper towel and for God’s sake please chill your beer glasses.
