The Hilltop Inn & Grove

Another first! What to say about this bar pie… First off, the bar is a hole in the wall with a bathroom sink that’s hanging on by a thread. It’s one of those bars for the “locals”. I did not have high expectations for this pie, in fact, I was expecting much worse. Here we go… The dough was surprisingly fresh. Crispy bottom with a nice crust. The cheese was pre shredded but it was fresh. The sauce was the only sore spot. Lacking any flavor because it was barely there. Not sweet but it was spread so thin, it was hard to tell. Overall, not bad pie for the price but it falls short of excellent. Don’t come here with high expectations but leave pleasantly surprised when you do.
