An Albany stable - light airy dough, good sauce and the right amount of cheese. Little square trey type personal pizzas. Great neighborhood bar to throw back some pitchers of beer or take the family out for casual get-together. Nostalgia alone gets in in the 8’s.

My dad called it a ”gourmet frozen pizza”. Only reason I ate more than one slice is because we were three pitchers of beer deep. I get it you’re trying to be different with the size and have your own pizza identity. But step it up. Christ almighty. Entice me. Don’t put a frozen za with brown poop lumps in front on my face. Good thing you sell beer.

One homeless bum, everyone knows the rules. This old school joint, in business in one form or another since Teddy Roosevelt drank here in 1903, makes an old school bar pizza that is a rarity in the Capital Region. The garlic bread with cheese and tomatoes is fantastic as well. A great old school bar atmosphere. As long as you don’t get shot or robbed by a crackhead looking for leprechauns outside, you should enjoy yourself. Solid drunk pizza.
