The Original Italian Pie

It's a good pie; I don't know that I'd call it a great pie. The crust has a nice taste and texture, and is perfectly crisped. It has flavor, it's juicy, isn't too greasy, ingredients all taste good and fresh. It does nothing wrong, but I feel like it just lacks the 'magic' of some of the better pizzas I've tried. The red pepper I added felt necessary. For that reason I think it can't quite break through into the 7s, but it's damn close. It was good, I'd happily eat it again, but I can't see myself craving it or go out of my way for it. So it earns a 6.9 in my book.
