I love a family operated spot, this place warmed my pizza heart. This guy was born in a pizza shop, his family started in 1959…. About 10yrs ago he retired and opened up this pizza shop with his wife. Big sheets of square pizza slices, and prices that will make you think it’s the mid 90s… I didn’t plan to come here it was across the street from my hotel and when I saw “original” in the name I had to stop in. The crust was crisp, of course I took the corners… sauce was average but still better then any chain spot. Cup and char pepperoni as expected. This man clearly loves his pizza, I would not be disappointed if this was my local pizza store. Cash only mom and pop shop, the couple was so friendly. These are the type of shops I love to find, it’s not the gourmet pizza, it’s not fancy, but it’s made with love and it shows!
