The Pie

They have a really good margarita pie and it has tasty sauce with the right amount of spices/herbs. If you are near you should get a pie.

It was good, but I know there is better out there.

Looks much better than it looks. There are certain bites I can see score high but the seasoning and where is placed is wrong. It almost feels like they poured Italian seasoning in only some places instead of just in the sauce. Certain bites were overpowered with rosemary, thyme and oregano and took away the whole experience. Repeats in you and overpowers and opportunity to enjoy it. The lowest score I have given to not chain place but it fits on the overhanded seasoning and lack of awareness

Scored the Margherita, but enjoyed the White, Buffalo, white w spinach & mushroom (yes, Sarah was with me clearly… gotta have the mushroom) and then she ordered some other pie I didn’t even try… But the score was for the Margherita… very fresh ingredients, nice soft dough… no crunch.. this is a date spot 💯

Tasty! Thin and light with good crunch. Reminds me of the old school coal oven pizza spots in Brooklyn and Manhattan

Tangy sauce crust could’ve been a little crisper but nice undercarriage. The meatballs were good! I would pass on the baked clams appetizer though more bread than clam.

Real Italian

Very enjoyable pizza- the sauce has a nice tang to it and the Moootzz is fresh. The crust is light but I wish it was little bit more crispy. Best pizza in PJ

Sauce had a very nice tang, sough had some nice char (can’t really see it in this photo but trust me it was there) little heavy on the oregano and I would have liked it a little crispier, although I did pick it up a bit late so I can’t blame them. Dough did have a slightly fermented taste that I loved. Overall kind of reminded me of The Pie at Salvatores in Bay Shore, not complaining, and was def a place to hit up if you’re in the area.

Flavor town, USA. So fresh and tasty. Perfect char and perfectly cooked under carriage. Lacked just a little crisp, but overall really, really good slice.

Nice thin crispy crust, cheese and sauce were really good. Definitely some flop. Best I’ve had in the area, probably my new pizza spot especially for a fancy style pie.

This place is known as a Joey Zs solid nice taste in between crunchy and soft, really good slice, good restaurant pizza

If you love coal fired, charcoal on your finger from crust pizza. This is the place for you. Best in this area.

Best pizza I’ve discovered so far on LI. Very tasty and well prepared. Crust and sauce on point. Regular pizza here is same score (meatball and sausage advertised here).

Not bad. Not the usual style I get but also not very well done for brick oven. Prez would probably dig it

All these insane high ratings are just wrong. If you like Boboli premade crust then this is the place for you. $17 for a large pie that is not LARGE. what a Port Jeff rip off.
