The Pizza Box

Sicilian slice was delicious, fluffy dough and good undercarriage. Sweet sauce and delicious cheese. Cheesesteak stuffed pizza was great too but a floppy mess. The grandma pizza with pepperoni wasn’t my favorite. The sweet sauce didn’t work out for me.

As a rule I don’t generally comment on the community score but this is brutally overrated Eye test - clear as day this is way undercooked. Look at the dough! It’s not far from the color of raw dough Execution - really weak. Taste and bake are subpar Ratio - adequate, somewhat lacking sauce Dough - has just a tad bit of flavor Cheese - fresh, adequate chew but neutral taste. Sauce - no sweetness or spices. Weak flavor Almost as if there was a reluctance to have too much taste. Let’s make sure all three ingredients are virtually tasteless. Hooray. No one will be offended Phillip Glass said, “Risks generate excitement and conversation.” This slice is the opposite. It’s meaningless elevator music. Not fit for travel or neighborhood Perfect for Braves fans after another playoff disaster

Better than a spanking

I really like this place, nice staff and cool atmosphere for a slice joint. Had high expectations for the pizza that it didn’t live up to. Floppy mess of cheese, and sauce and crust that are average.

Solid slice, little floppy but overall quality

Could have been cooked longer. Very floppy, but otherwise a pretty solid pie. The cheese, pepperoni and sauce all had nice flavor, and I also liked the spice. Recommended for anyone nearby.

One of the best margherita pizzas I’ve ever had. May be the best pizza in Glenside. Great people as soon as I walked in. 100% coming back.
