The Pomodoro

Thin crust, very floppy, no hold. Flavor was OK, not great. Side note: service was slow and owner/manager was doing shots at the bar with patrons in between running out orders.

Gorgeous pizza. Sauce was a Little too sweet. Meat not very flavorful. But a nice bite.

Was in the Rockford area and found this place on the app with high ratings. Then I noticed it’s mostly one review posters inflating the scores of this pizza. Nevertheless I tried this on a Saturday afternoon. Just over $30 for this including tip. Doesn’t seem like a true New York slice to me. Crust is thick. Had some crispiness on edges. Cheese was heavy so probably a little too much and lots of pepperonis but basically blah. Some seem more cooked than others. They may have added some on and threw it back in the oven. Expensively off pizza that’s for sure.

Double slices at lunch, hell yes! Thin and crispy!
