The Post

Got a slice in between daughters travel basketball games. Good value for a big slice ($4 a slice) and it was quite tasty. It was floppy and a little drippy but again the taste was good. This place reminds a little of Goodfellas (Indy pizza). Maybe a poor man’s version but it’s still very good. Now about the service, it was kind of nonchalant and not very expedient for 2 PM and not as many customers in house. I would figure after El Prez put them on blast that it would have been a little better. I would definitely eat here again for value and taste.

Just got a small pie to go. Looks like the dough is a bit thicker than the slices I saw while there. Underdone but good flavor. Cheese and sauce are standard. Service was good, I was in and out in 20 minutes while having a cocktail. Pretty average pie for Louisville, better than some other local spots. Ignore Pageview’s review. I hate poor service as much as anyone and cut off spots regularly, but things happen.

The post has been coming up lately, the waits aren’t as long and the service is good. This visit the pizza was pretty solid. Nice sauce, crust texture, and cooked pretty well. Not perfect but maybe top 3 in our town currently. Rookie score ;)

Even though I've had some better pizza in Chicago. This is my favorite in the Louisville. Caesar salad, breadsticks and their pizza is great! And don't forget to drink as many Coors banquets on tap as you can!

Little on the greasy side, good crust, pretty solid sauce. Not bad!

This is a CHEESE / Well Done. Little floppy & some grease. Average pizza. Pick up was ready on time.

Good pie. Had pretty good flavor. Kinda floppy could have used a longer cook. Some more save would have been good as well.

The crisp crust was great. It just lacked on sauce taste. The cheesesticks prior to the pizza was great though....like an 8.2 on this. But yeah, the pizza was good but nothing really spectacular. Wanted to love it but it just missed. 🤷‍♂️

The service on this visit was good and quick. The pizza wasn’t bad but wasn’t the best, it was ok. Lacking flavor, very little sauce and floppy dough structure though surprisingly had some crunch. Not a bad place for a quick cheap slice on a lunch break or a snack.

$7 lunch special for this. Waited 90 seconds. Little flop but overall good crust.

First time trying the post. I kind of wish I had gotten a big slice instead of a moderately sized pie but even this baby 12 incher flops like LeBron. Overall the taste is good, I like the sauce and the crust. I did one half just pep to try to keep it close to the real thing. It’s good pizza. Not the best, but good pizza.

Not too good. Good atmosphere but the pizza was not true NY. Sauce too sweet to much bread.
