The Sawmill

Big boardwalk slice and minimal flop. The sauce is bland and the crust is crispy. A lot of cheese and oil which bumped up my score, but all around it’s not very flavorful. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and it has definitely changed in flavor.

Nice crust taste on this boardwalk slice. Very thin and very cheesy. Good overall flavor on sauce.

First slice back since corona, also first time having sawmill. I’ve heard a lot about this pizza, so I expected the best. Overall, this wasn’t a bad slice, good sauce and cheese, but very thin. Yes the pizza is double the size of a normal slice but a little extra dough wouldn’t hurt. Also a bit greasy but overall can’t complain.

The King of Boardwalk Slices in my opinion, growing up in Seaside pretty much raised on this. It’s hard for me not to love this pizza. The sauce/cheese ratio is just delicious. I will say the crust is the weakest part of the slice. The size of the slice is what really makes up for it though. You will not find a better deal or pizza more refreshing after a long day on the jersey shore.

Half my head is cut off, its windy outside, and to top it off it was an awful slice. Not a great review but the pizza grind never sleeps.
