The Upper Crust Pizzeria

Hands down the most inconsistent slice I’ve ever had. It did test good though. One bite you’d have a garlic, flavour, the other basil. One would have good undercarriage and the other, not so good. My biggest gripe was whole tomatoes in the sauce. The chunks from the product were present on a cheese slice, which shouldn’t happen. But again, it was decent pizza. Rookie score for an inconsistent slice.

Their pizza is delicious. Hawaiian was tasty. Sauce is sweet and chunky and their dough is delicious. However, I found myself having to chew a lot because their dough is tough. Definitely hurt my jaw lol

Fantastic thin crust, New York style pizza with fresh chunky sauce. Crunchy crust.

Good flavor and crunch on the edges. Little limp in the middle.

Too much garlic

For someone who grew up in New England and lived in Boston, this may be as blasphemous of a statement as saying “Peyton Manning is a better QB than Tom Brady,” but Upper Crust is better than Regina’s. It may be the best pizza spot in Bean Town. The Chorizo Basil is the best pie they have. And since you’re in Beacon Hill, treat yourself to J.P. Licks for dessert. If it’s summer time, check if they have the apple fritter ice cream in season. Now you have yourself a nice meal.

Delicious slice of pizza! Sauce and cheese were the best part very light. Real tomatoes for the sauce cheese had a very nice flavor. Crispy crust.

Good pizza. Light on sauce. Sauce is more comprised of large tomato chunks scattered about the pizza like pepperoni than actual sauce.

I rarely RARELY do this but, this place is something else. From the dough,cheese,sauce,and crust I cannot see any improvement. That is coming from a guy that is not a fan of sauce nor crust. I’ve only been to Boston a couple of times so I’m not sure about this New haven style pizza, if it’s all great some better than others I don’t know. But what I do know is that this is the best pizza I have ever had without a doubt. Unreal pizza.

Solid pizza. Minimal flop. Right amount of grease. Could use a lil mo sause

Buffalo Chicken pizza

Not bad but messy and a ton of flop. Still solid.

Crisp. My style. Right amount of sauce and cheese. A little greasy.

No flip, light grease, crispy crust.

great flavor, a little soft. Need to work on the crunch.
