Not sure if it’s the ingredients or how they cook it, or perhaps it was the Parmesan crust, but every bite had the perfect amount of crunch to it. While the sauce wasn’t as sweet as I prefer, it worked well with the mozzarella they use and of course the bacon and meatballs. Oh, and did I mention the assortment of craft beers on tap? What are the odds I’d find a [DowningtownPA] Victory summer ale on tap in an upstateNY-style pizzeria in a town 40 minutes north of CharlotteNC??!! (Probably helped the score a little). Worth the drive/Lyft/Uber if you’re ever in Charlotte.
