Some serious hometown scoring going on here among the OneBite community, which elevated my expectations going into the review. They say this is thin crust pizza but in actuality it’s a relatively thick, soft & doughy football pizza of barely average fare. The dough is firmish, not particularly crispy, with a burnt blackened undercarriage. The crust is charred pretty well also with a modest amount of crunch but also has the flavor of burnt dough. As you can see by the orange tinge, this pie is loaded with grease, cascading oil dripping with every bite, also producing an overbearing salty flavor. The cheese is basically engulfed by grease, making it nearly impossible to taste the flavor in the mozzarella blend. The sauce is far too light, completely overwhelmed by the salty flavor from the oily discharge. Scant sauce plus excess grease makes for one salty pie, void of any other discernible flavor. Because of the inflated scores on this app, there seemed to be a smattering of hype coming into the review, which turned out to be wholeheartedly disappointing. Overall, this is fairly generic, burnt & greasy subpar football pizza. I guess you can’t expect 3 boys to do a man’s job. 🤷🏻♂️
