Incredible crust, but leaves some to be desired with the pizza itself

Solid bready pizza with great cheese ratio. A little too much sauce on top imo.

Not my style at all but you can’t deny the goodness of this pie so savory and filling worth a trip at least once

First Detroit style pizza. The crust may be a little intimidating, as it is a thick pizza, but it is light and airy. The toppings were very fresh, and the staff was as friendly as you could ask for. Even if Detroit style is not your style, you owe it to yourself to give this pizza a try. There’s a reason it’s the highest rated pizza in the Dallas area.

My favorite style of pizza is “Detroit style” so I’m a little biased. VIA313 in Austin WAS my go-to, but now, this is it. The Connie was my choice. So good, 9.1

Thunderbird Pies. It’s really zolis - everybody knows the rules. My first Detroit slice and a great one. It’s bready without feeling too bready. Moist and tender throughout - not dry at all. Phenomenal crispy cheese crust that kept me coming back. I wish there was sauce on the whole slice - kind of makes it an interesting pizza. One bite is cheesy bread, the next is saucy bread. Overall it was great. Didn’t think I’d like it, but I’ll order again. She went 7.7 (shame) and I went 8.2. I’m bumping it 0.1 because it needs an 8.
