Pizza Review
Eager to try the new pizza joint in our small town, we wanted to give them a fair shot and went with a traditional pepperoni, a cheese, and then added one of their specialty pizzas with pulled pork & BBQ sauce. The guy that answered the phone was really chipper and pleasant but passed the phone to a woman whose customer service skills could use some help. She nearly deterred our business completely, I almost think that was her goal. Nonetheless, we ordered and opted to pick-up since is was conveyed delivery wasn’t convenient for them at the time. We noticed when we walked in, the crust is precooked and stored in plastic bags, waiting for toppings. I didn’t like that. I understand the dough is harder to toss because it’s sourdough but I feel a pizza should be fresh, crust & all. After digging in it was noticed right away the inconsistency of the crust. It was either WAY to stiff (and hard to chew) or so floppy the toppings would slide off completely (see photo). The cheese and sauce was a big problem for me and tasted of very poor quality. I enjoyed the pulled pork pizza the most, as it didn’t have either of these toppings. The guys working inside when we picked up were an absolute pleasure, really friendly. The rest of the experience was underwhelming to say the least.
