Sweet taste, crust is amazing best pizza in south Florida that will hold up to any NYC PIZZA.

Pizza review time of Times Square Pizza in Fort Lauderdale. This place actually picked up the name from the (Busy corner of US1 and Oakland Park blvd.)shopping plaza it is in and not necessarily from New York. 1. This place was always on my top 4 list for years, but I wanted to review it now with my New standards. 2. Bigger and thinner than the old days, needed 2 plates to serve it. 3. It smelled and tasted with a bit overwhelming with the oregano. 4. All fine ingredients and was cooked and browned perfectly. 5. My review score is 7.3 ( Good but won't travel too far to get any more)

A NYC transplant told me about Times Square Pizza and said it was as close to an authentic NY style slice as he’s had in Fort Lauderdale. I ordered a plain pie and, after eating, I can’t agree with him. Really doughy crust. I mean really, really doughy. No crunch, no char on the undercarriage, just super soft and chewy. Cheese was kind of greasy and the sauce was...well, bland. The pizza didn’t really have any kind of special taste, almost flavorless. It wasn’t “bad” pizza but, expecting a good NY style, I was pretty disappointed. Might have just been a bad night at the office for them but I probably won’t be calling back.

The sauce is what stands out, the cheese and dough don't hold up though. To doughie, needs to be cooked longer. Not much flop. Football pizza.

Big flop good taste! Might not go out of my way for this slice but if you are close bye its worth a shot!

Good sauce! Little flop

Nice large slice, priced right. A little too cheesy and not crispy enough for my taste.

Zero flop, no grease. Crunchy crust. Good overall taste.

First bite was great and tons of potential but as I ate more of the pizza the grease started to pool. When I got to the crust it tasted like rock hard raw dough. I couldn’t eat any of the crust. Disappointed

Best pizza I've had in Fort Lauderdale so far. No flop. A little bit of sweetness in the sauce. Crust is a little bland but overall pretty darn good.

Really good pizza

This is, hands down, my favorite pizza in Fort Lauderdale. They make massive pies that hold up quality wise. The sauce is perfect, sweet but not too sweet. Cheese is perfect and the pizza is always cooked right. Big delicious New York slices.
