Very thin pizza, no flop. Good tang in the cheese. No extra toppings needed. REALLY good pizza and the waiter hustled it up. Def worth the drive!!

Worthy of the hype. These pies are tangy, thin crust, crunchy with some nice char. Great flavor. They go down easy. Yum!

Large cheese pizza, 8 Spicy Garlic wings and a Saxon Woods root beer with friends for lunch on a Monday Pro: Nice thin crust with a saucy coastline. Great cook to the pizza, a real CT quality pie. Cons: First few bites can get a little greasy but when cooled it tastes great with the sauce, cheese and thin crust. Verdict: Well above average pizza with a great cook to it. And the wings were possibly the best I ever had, so this place is really fantastic. *I added .5 to the score for the best wings anywhere combined with strong pizza - This place is great and worst a return visit for sure Wings are a 9.7

Great pizza, sauce filled with natural flavor, good undercarriage and nice thin crunchy crust. Surprised that it’s cut like Apizza New Haven style but NOT really like New Haven style. The regular pie is a high score of 8.4 and their garlic pie is a 7.7. It hit the spot for our pregame World Series party. GO PHILLIES! (8.4/10)

Not particularly New Haven style, but very good pizza. Lots of flavor with a hint of garlic, decent hold, notable cheese to sauce ratio. Thinner than it looks.

First bite had the taste of garlic, guessing Wisconsin cheese?. Definitely not Apizza style you would expect from the area but a pleasant surprise nonetheless Hidden gem, as a bonus local IPA was really good to accompany the pie!

If colony grill and Santillo’s had a kid this is it. The first bites that oil gives incredible bite into the really thin crispy crust. Sauce taste incredible with garlic and the hint of dusted cheese, did I say it has garlic cuz it’s got garlic. The cheese very similar to colony grill is we’re the majority of flavor comes from and matches the Jersey style bar crust for a sensational pie. The place is in the corner of a strip mall and totally unassuming but my god is it one hidden gem and worth the trip!! Place is a must try!!’

Hidden gem - great bar pie

Wow - great pizza. I was skeptical that it would hold up against other Derby stars but it did. My one small critique was that the crust was slightly too crispy. Not by much but just enough to notice. Overall a great slice.

I had ate here once before on a friends recommendation for the baked stuffed shrimp pizza. An amazing pie but didn’t review as I’m bias to a plain cheese pizza. Well I tried the plain and WOW! The crust was the perfect thickness crisp underneath yet not too soft on the top. Great amount of cheese. Sauce has incredible flavor just the right amount of spice without anything being overkill. This is now my new favorite plain pie. Period.

After all the hype I had to check it out. Safe to say this one lives up to it all. Nice crispy thin crust and cooked just right. The sausage is pretty close to Zuppardi’s. Had the stuffed shrimp pie also. Very good but the plain and sausage is where it’s at.

Great pie. The cheese and sauce of NYC, the thin crust of a pie you would get in Stamford at a place like Colony or Riko’s, but cooked New Haven style. Highly recommend!
