My wife’s parents live in the Stoneboro/Sandy Lake area and while we were visiting, they all wanted to get Wedgie’s from Tobey’s. I insisted on getting a pizza despite everyone in her family trying to talk me out of it. They convinced me to at least just get the smallest size available if I wasn’t going to change my mind.
They were right. This was bad.
Everything about it felt fake. The cheese had zero pull and somehow had a chunky texture to it. You can see where the little plastic pizza table left holes in the cheese that never filled back in after it was removed. So strange. The crust was a premade frozen shell, the sauce was the cheapest tomato paste and the pepperoni was also low quality. Edible but not defensible.
