TOMATO JOE’S NEW YORK PIZZERIA

Don’t really understand the low reviews on this one, very solid slice at a good price.

I’m starting to get upset that every new pizza I try this year is below a 7. I want to love the pizza I’m eating but all I’m finding is bad pizza or just mediocre pizza. Here’s another mediocre pizza. Sauce sucks. Sweet and bland. Cheese and crust are decent but this pizza needed great cheese and crust to overcome the bad sauce. Hopefully the next new pizza I try will be better.

Good pie. Good crisp no flop. Cheesy not a lot of sauce. One bite everybody knows the rules

Dave’s review is right on point except crust isn’t as good. Too much oregano in the sauce. For Tampa it’s one of the better ones but some small specialty chains like Fabbrica are way better. Yelp’s reviews are way over exaggerated. First time I’ve been disappointed in a Yelp review.

Not good, bland, no taste or flavor, crust isn’t bad, tastes like frozen pizza from the grocery store.
