Probably one of the top pizzas in Michigan. Good flop and crispy crust. If you are a ranch person, they have definitely stepped their game up with that recently. I would only really deduct points for the way they cut the pizza... the cuts make it a 5+ napkins type of pizza

Second time around. Had them cook it well done to shore up the middle. First time it was a tad soupy. Looks burnt in some spots but only a few bites you could taste it. Overall it was a great pizza. New Haven style is the way to go. The crunch of the crust sets it off. Pizza gets into the 9’s if they figure out how to firm up the middle without having to get it well done.

I had high hopes for this place from the other reviews. I got a super greasy pie, not my favorite. Maybe I’ll give it a try when it’s not a holiday. They seemed swamped.

Alright Frankie....Burn your face off type pizza! Ate it right out of the oven. Good drive around the corner type pizza. Love the coal fire. Sauce was a bit bland and hand no tang or zip to it. Slices were cut in strips rather than triangles. Not at fan of that. In general, good drunk pizza. Wouldn’t drive over 30 minutes for it, but for a neighborhood pizza, this is the place. It was a bit greasy and didn’t have major flop. Loved the thin type pizza. Would of been over an 8 if slices were cut differently and more tang in the sauce. That’s a review...

I HATE MICHIGAN PIZZA!!! In the land of thick bread style pizza with crappy sauce to keep Michiganders warm at night with their Labatts. Not here...not Tomatoes. This pizza surprised the hell out of me. The only reason they didn’t get an 8 or better is the silly cut...come on guys. You got a good pie, good sauce and a perfectly cooked crust- cut it like the pro!! The best thin crust I’ve had living here for 4 years. Cheers

First experience with Tomatoes and it is fantastic. Perfectly cooked, very little flop with an amazing crust. Sauce has just the right amount of tang. Solid solid pie. For Michigan this is off the charts.

APIZZA! EAST COAST PIZZA!!! What you should know about tomatoes Apizza is that they are bringing us the NEW HAVEN, CT Style and culture of pizza. The cut is definitely weird maaan, but not a deal breaker, just tougher to share equal slices. The cheese, many dimensions, nice blend, it’s buttery, sharp, and has a nice hint of grease to it. The sauce has a fresh tomato n garlic twang to it. The crust is thin and crisp, and had just a hint of char! The flop on the traditional triangle slices was minimal. This pizza(APIZZA) is 🔥🔥🔥 don’t sleep on this place.

Great pizza, just returned from New Haven, Connecticut and had the three big Apizza there (Sally’s, Pepe’s and Modern) and this can hold its own with the best of them.

Solid pie. A little greasy and interesting cutting technique. Would definitely go back, unfortunately it was a little cold by the time I got home.

Thin crust, no flop, sauce has good flavor but there’s nothing exciting about the overall taste and quality is the pizza. They cut it into weird shapes on top of that. I went in with too high of expectations.

Great staff! Nice clean place! Awesome “drunk” pizza, nice thin crust, need a bit more snap, more sauce, kind of a weird cheese blend (? Supposed to be Mozzarella but tastes more like a blend). If you’re close by give it a shot!! LONG LIVE SENSEI PAGEVIEWS!
