Great New Haven style pizza in Michigan.

Value: 6 Size: 10 Temperature: 7 Crust: 10 Taste: 7 Quality: 7 Environment: 10 Great place to go dine in after a men’s softball league. You will not be disappointed. The pepperoni was super high quality, but unfortunately made the pizza very greasy. Stay away from the pepperoni toppings and you will have a great experience.

Solid pizza with good cheese tang and char flavors

Very light, very fresh taste. Would like it to be a tad crispier but this is a fantastic spot.

My new favorite pizza, I live almost an hour away and will be back! Must drive and a must have if you like thin, crispy New Haven style pizza!!!!

Good flavor and nice char

Got the classic and white pizza. White pizza was spot on! Good flavor. Good under carriage Classic was a little floppy and sauce was soupy.

Great pizza! Cooked well, no flop. Sauce was a little sweet for my taste. Great flavor overall!

Mason scored it a 6.4 which I thought was a little low. Tom (me) scored it a 7.4. Awesome char, a little grease.

Excellent balance of fresh ingredients. Cooked to a perfect crisp. Great New Haven style pizza right here in Michigan. Would definitely go out of my way to get a pizza from Tomatoes!

Bomb sauce. I vote 8.3 but my husband votes 7.9 so we settled on an 8.1. Excellent crust. Just cheesy enough. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time.

The cheese pizza was amazing. The was really good on it and the crust had a great snap to it. It was a little oily but that didn't take away too much.

Probably one of the top pizzas in Michigan. Good flop and crispy crust. If you are a ranch person, they have definitely stepped their game up with that recently. I would only really deduct points for the way they cut the pizza... the cuts make it a 5+ napkins type of pizza

Second time around. Had them cook it well done to shore up the middle. First time it was a tad soupy. Looks burnt in some spots but only a few bites you could taste it. Overall it was a great pizza. New Haven style is the way to go. The crunch of the crust sets it off. Pizza gets into the 9’s if they figure out how to firm up the middle without having to get it well done.

I had high hopes for this place from the other reviews. I got a super greasy pie, not my favorite. Maybe I’ll give it a try when it’s not a holiday. They seemed swamped.
