Exceptional slice! Zero flop and the crunch was perfection. Old school mom and pop style pizza.

Solid Pizza. One of the best slices I have had in my life.

Thin crust, cooked to perfection — the crunch is intense. Cheese is spectacular and packed with flavor. Sauce complements well without overpowering, and the ratio of sauce to cheese is close to perfect. Tiny bit greasy, but doesn’t detract at all from the experience. The workers are extremely hospitable and kind. Highly recommended.

As I was walking up to Tommy’s I couldn’t help but notice about 6-7 double parked cars just outside. I stood there for a few minutes just to watch as people would run in and run out with slices and pies. If that old school signage didn’t sell you on this being a great spot, the people running in and out while eating a slice in their car did. When you walk inside you immediately know this is as old school as it’s gonna get, the wood paneled walls, old red booths and the classic tile floors and brick lining around the oven. The slice was fantastic, perfectly balanced with the sauce and cheese ratio, beautiful crust texture with the cornmeal dusting. Perfect crispness providing that all important fold. Everything you want in a NY slice. The flavors and I mean this in an exceptional way when I say this, are the classic NY slice of your dreams. It’s a nearly perfected no frills traditional slice. The subtle sweetness from the sauce, the mild saltiness of the cheese, the right amount of oil glistening on the topside, the beautiful cook on the underside, the nicely done crunch and thin airy structure of the back crust were all phenomenal. This is the kind of place where you wish you had in your neighborhood, an old school pizza joint that doesn’t serve anything fancy or different, they just provide you with awesome classic pizza at a great price.

Alright Lorenzo I looked at this place like Chris Benoit looked at looked at his family. Murdered this pie fast! Most of the taste comes from this cheese blend that was plentiful and had wicked pull almost overpowering a great tasting sauce. Awesome crunch little flop but on the heavy side, crust with the cornmeal screamin them old school vibes. Like Helen Keller answering the iron screams. I love the place and watching tommy himself work this pie in that oven. If your a man of the pizz this is a must experience.

Good solid pie; best mozzarella I’ve had in a long time, complimented with delicious homemade sauce and a fresh, crispy crust. The only minor knock is that the pie was slightly on the oily side, but all in all, an outstanding traditional, “football-type” pie.

Cheese pizza: one of the better NY pizzas I’ve had, for sure; the sauce is definitely the main attraction here, right amount of sweetness with the slightest sour kick, definitely very good sauce, bordering on perfect; dough is good, not great; not particularly crispy, no char; soft with a good amount of floppiness, but I wouldn’t say to a fault; cheese isn’t great, but cooked well

Very good slice. A little flop, however, nice crunch on the bottom. Sauce is a little sweet, but still good. Only thing from keeping this an 8 is the cheese, could use more and wasn’t blown away by the taste.
