Tommy's Tavern + Tap

Margarita pie was pretty good! Definitely had some good crust and sauce. If you’re looking for a decent pie by the mall this is probably your best bet.

I actually had this clam pie in Tommy’s freehold location, but since that is unavailable on the app and I was born on the island of staten I’m going with this. It was a decent clam pie mixed with sausage drizzle. Not as good as the o.g. Red Bank location. Clam the man!

The pizza is solid but the rest of the menu is incredibly good especially considering the amount of items available. This kitchen is HUGE! Pizza is about a 6.5 but the rest of the food is in the 8s.

It falls somewhere between a regular slice and a bar pie. The menu is massive. So for the pizza to be as good as it is, is impressive. Sushi was a 7.1. Respectable overall.

Honestly very underwhelming. Not worth the money for this pizza. Sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can. Cheese was barely melted. Just not a good mix.

I wanted to like this pizza more, but I can not justify anything above this score. Cheese was sooooo thick and way too much. Pizza could have been cooked a bit longer as well.

Pleasantly surprised by the famous coal fire pizza, great sauce, crust is delicious, I see you Tommy’s!!

Dough was undercooked

Very good personal pie. Night and day in comparison to that shit hole personal pie I had in Manhattan at Neapolitan express.

Bar pizza. Their standard cheese pie is actually a margherita pizza which I don’t hate at all. It’s pretty good. Cheese is great. Sauce has a ton of tang. I’ll eat here again. Is it the best pizza on Staten Island? FUCK no. But if you’re throwing a few brews back, this pizza is great. I’m going strong here, this is a 7.6.

Sex

Had good flavor. Are the Bruno and the cherry peppers overpowered the chicken. I like spicy but need just a few less peppers. Felt a little undercooked. Zero char marks on the bottom good pizza but can get better. New spot ill give it another go
