Tony Rigatoni's Italian Kitchen

We did order this with pepperoni, however we are honorable people and we did not take this into account upon rendering our score. Good flop, wouldn’t call it New York flop, maybe Rocky Mountain flop. Undercarriage was good, however the crust could have been more charred. Taste was great

Driving through Colorado on my way to Arizona, I was craving pizza. Not knowing the area, I happened upon Tony’s. I ordered the 12” medium with cheese, pepperoni, and green peppers. Overall the pizza was hot and satisfying. The tomato sauce is important to me and it was spot on! It had a sweet taste to it, just how I like it. The ingredients were fresh and evenly distributed on the pie. The problem I had with it was that extra virgin olive oil that they put on top of the pie was way too much. It made a grease pond in the center which made the pizza pieces hard to pick up due to the ends becoming soggy. I like a light char on the bottom of the crust, and this pizza could’ve been cooked a little longer. But again, the pizza was satisfying and would definitely return if in the area 🍕7.2 🍺

Did a hike at Mount Falcon and was craving pizza afterwards. Morrison doesn’t have any slice shops so I think Tony Rigatonis is the only place to go for pizza in the area. I was disappointed in the size of the large pie but didn’t let that affect the score. The 4.2 is entirely because it tastes like a food court pizza. It looks great when you open the box but fails to deliver on taste & texture in my opinion. I thought the sauce was wonderful but it was overshadowed by the cheese and dough in most bites.
