Being from Chicago I wasn’t born and raised around NY or Conn style; however, I have grown to really look at,appreciate, and dissect the regional varieties. To just slam Tony’s with a 2.7 is absurd. Tony’s holds it’s own with the good NY pie that I’ve had and is boss for the upper small town Midwest. Please tell me who your comparing this to that is not a Lucalis, Di Fara, or Johns. Have you been back here? I’m not trying to knock your score but this is a legit pie maker and that score can definitely diminish the viewpoint of a objective person with a craving for a good east coast style pie in the area. I am not an owner or relative of the family but I am a little offended by that score. Please give them another try.
