Chapman Lake Style bc that’s where they originated in the 40s. They also were in Olyphant by O-town for years but before my time (building has since been torn down and now hotly debated).
Really enjoyed the people there, very friendly. I was late coming from Genello’s and they reheated the pizzas so that could’ve factored in here. Great presentation, they ask as they give you the pizza if you want some sauce drizzled on top.
The sauce is delish it’s a traditional sweet sauce like drinker, the rest is unremarkable. The cheese is fine it’s a blend (not just mozerella maybe American cheese too) but the crust is thick crusty and blah on both pizzas so you really need extra sauce, maybe extra cheese, or lots of toppings to balance the bread ratio.
