Pizza Review
I decided to order Tony's again via third-party delivery and ordered a 20-inch Combo Americano, extra crispy. I was expecting greatness since I've never had this flavor. The pizza arrived fairly quickly, and I was surprised, which made me excited because it would be piping hot at that point (you how 3rd party delivery goes). But that excitement soon turned to disappointment. As I noticed that the pizza was not crispy, it was still half cooked. The vegetables were Raw, the pepperoni was cooked to the point where it just started to curl, and that was it. It didn't even let out the fat. The mushrooms were too thick and didn't even let out a sweat. The cherry tomatoes were not even cooked at all, as the skin wasn't even wrinkled. No Char, all flop & not even an air bubble, weak for me & you. I noticed when I was at the Market St location one time, I seen that the pizzas were are already premade and just sitting there stacked up on a rack system, so therefore I must concur they just took that pizza off a rack that was premade and threw it in the oven for 2 minutes and that was it. Your employees didn't care to see if that pie was hot, sizzling and glistening as the pizza was cold in the center but I would expect that it with delivery, so I'm not docking to you for that; but I'd expect way better from Tony, even though he wasn't there supervising personally at that location which would be on Haight Street most likely it came from. That location needs to do a lot better than just having youth employees running the place without the boss.
