One of the many offshoots of the OG- Lombardi’s. Open since 1924 with the coal oven on deck. Next level sauce for sure. Cheese was spaced out like Lombardi’s but they def put a healthy amount of parmigiana atop the sauce which made it perfectly to my liking. Consistency and crunch in the dough was tite but it was lacking a bit in flavor. No bullshit two hour lines, sat right down. That alone was an omen that you need to be here if you are ever in Coney Island. 8.6

The coal oven gives the crust a nice char around the edges. Very crisp, no New York flop. Cheese is fresh. Sauce has just the right amount of sweetness.

My favorite Coal Fire Pizza in the World, Hands Down, I would give it a 10, but no one should get a 10, There Cheese is ridiculous, There sauce is the freshest I have ever had, and there dough is unbelievable, the Crust taste like Bread on Crack

Ok one biters... first - pizza looks great. Crust was a little too done but the rest was good. Sauce was great ,not sweet and just enough. Cheese is fresh mozzarella but no cheese pull although it was delicious. This is the large that to me looked like a small pie. Would definitely go back to try the white which I heard was awesome too. Next time will go there to eat instead of taking out. And that’s my review. 🧐

This is the classic Brooklyn spot. If you love Napolianta style pizza, it doesn’t get much better than this. I have been coming here since my early teens and Cookie treats you like family!
