Trattoria Porretta Ristorante Pizzeria and Catering

This restaurant is a must-visit. The pizza is flawless from crust to ingredients.

One of my favorites in the city of Chicago and, in my opinion, the best pizzeria in the northwest side of the city. Always consistent in quality, sweet and tangy sauce, good cheese to sauce ratio. I’ve been ordering at Poretta’s for about 12 years and their pizza never disappoints!

Pizza looked awesome! Sorry to say looks were deceiving. The taste was extremely bland. Sauce was tomato sauce not pizza sauce.

I may be a bit partial to this pizza because I grew up on this place, but the fact remains that the pan pizza here is one of the best in Chicago. I have eaten many, many pan pizzas, and this just stands on it’s own as one of the greatest. Amazing sauce, great, fresh ingredients, and a crust that is truly one of a kind. The crust is going to keep you coming back for life. Give Porretta’s pizza a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed! My personal PSA: Please remember that Aurelio’s in LaGrange, IL is pure dog shit.

Surprisingly good sauce / a tad cheesy but over all really good local pizza. Service when you dine in is excellent.
