Trios Tomato Pie

Alright Weezy, pizza review time. Traditional pie was good. A little flop, decent crust. Good cheese mix, traditional red sauce. Solid football pie- 7.3.. the square was surprisingly good. Not typically my favorite, but super fresh topping. Great undercarriage and great crisp when you bit it. I had it warmed up well done, but definitely something to try. 7.7. That’s a review.

Cool place. Pizza is fine, just a little bland and boring.

Eye test- nothing special Execution - baking utterly perfect, taste underwhelming Ratio- inappropriate for tomato pie. More cheese than tomato Cheese- perfect chew. Completely neutral taste. Sauce- nice taste but not special. A bit sweet and void of spice. Dough- excellent bake but very plain taste. Calling this tomato pie is baffling. Spice-less grandma, maybe Salonen said, “I’m happy to raise eyebrows. I want to challenge listeners.” Fine for neighborhood, not travel worthy. The plain pie fails the eye test. Get the tomato pie, just don’t have high expectations

This was supposed to be a square Trenton-style tomato pie and it definitely looked the part at first glance. Alas, it was very floppy and mushy, plus the tomatoes completely overpowered the cheese. The crust was nothing to write home about either. The Wing Pizza (essentially a Buffalo chicken pizza with actual Buffalo chicken wing meat as opposed to grilled chicken pieces) was much better—a 7.2.

Looks a lot better than it is. Had a bad feeling when they called this a Trenton style tomato pie this cheese/sauce/dough ratio. The pizza hella greasy and extremely disappointing.
