Had this pizza a few times now and the plain cheese is just ok. When you add pepperoni and a slice of provolone it brings this pizza up a notch. I like how they put the pepperoni on then the slice of provolone. To be honest, overall it’s a bit on the sweet side. That’s ok for one slice or two but you get over it quick. When you add the toppings it adds some offset. The crust was good on this. Crisp and not too thick. The sweet sauce kept this under a 7 for me. Look and feel alone would have had this in the low sevens but just too sweet for my liking.

Disclosure: I am not a fan of the Sicilian slice or sweet sauce. That said this was probably the best Sicilian slice I’ve had. Great texture on the dough which was thick but light, not dense - that was the best quality. The sauce was sweet but tasted high quality so I actually didn’t mind as much as I thought. Worst part was the cheese by far, I ordered extra cheese cuz I’ve heard that’s the ideal way to order from Tripoli pizza (traces of cheese otherwise) but even then it was pitiful. One the cheese cooled one bite wouldn’t be enough to cut the cheese so you end up tearing it off the whole slice and need to put it back on. Poor cheese texture and no flavor on the cheese. Overall though, I’d recommend for sure if you’re into Sicilian slices but wouldn’t go back myself
