Pizza Review
I’m still here, reviewing pizza. I had to take a break due to a motorcycle accident. I can’t quite walk just yet but I can still eat pizza! On to the review… Advertised as Tuscan Pizza Crust for longest time before opening. It’s literally in one of the worst neighborhoods in Buffalo with little room to park. Bonus points for being open early as I was able to make an online order at 11am… This pizza surprised me. It’s definitely the best in the area, hands down. The dough, incredibly fresh, cooked perfectly for a thin slice with a nice and light crust. The cheese did shift on me but I have to use a walker aid and it was difficult keeping the box straight. Great flavor, a lot of grease but it was light which meant it’s just the milk fat. The sauce was light with just a small amount of a tang (it’s a little bit watered down but just enough to retain flavor) It’s really just middle of the road sauce which is fine by itself and you can tell Tuscan Pizza is playing it safe. I’d use less water and little more pepper, garlic, salt and oregano. Overall this place exceeded my expectations. Best pizza in the worst neighborhood.
