This place really helped popularized the gourmet slice. And that’s what you go here for. Interesting toppings but the crust and pizza overall is very typical of that era. High gluten flour, not very well fermented, etc.

Great taste. Sun dried tomatoes made up for the no sauce choice. Pesto works too as it brings a good kick of spicy. Crust could have been better. A little flop; it could have been cooked longer. Overall a great slip if you in the West Village.

This wasn’t the best NYC pizza I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad. Very good crust, but the overall taste of the pizza left a little to be desired. They stay open very late, so a good spot to go to after going out.
