One of the best square slices I’ve ever had in my life. Very delicious. Great sauce, good crust, solid cheese.

Beautiful crunchy crust, moderate layer of stringy mozzarella, good flavored sauce.

No flop, super doughy and no crisp

It’s a great go to pizza, can definitely eat it at least once a week.

Best grandma pizza on LI (& the original) - 9.0, best Sicilian pizza in NY - 8.8, deep dish pan pizza - 8.6, and regular slice pizza - 7.6.

Ahhh, the gold standard. El Prez says you travel for anything in the 8’s, I moved from NY a few years ago, whenever I return, or when I bring work friends to NY, we head from JFK to NHP (New Hyde Park). This place is a landmark. Try getting in here for pizza during a Friday in Lent... Everything about Umberto’s is great, pizza, entrees, even desserts. After having Sicilian pizza here, it’s tough to compare anything else. I agree with Dave, regular is just above satisfactory, that’s the review...

Regular: that's as good as it gets for a classic NY slice a little grease and all flavor 8.9 Sicilan: cooked perfect and full of flavor. 9 1 Grandma: it's just perfect you have to see for yourself the is without a doubt the best grandma in NY. 9.5

Fantastic sicilian slice. Great consistent bread, great sauce, adequate cheese. A must have slice.

Legit Sicilian, might be my favorite I’ve had. The margherita has a great crisp as well. Strong sauce.

Square slices are better than the regular. Sauce is sweeter. Regular is still decent. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

Extremely crispy and thin. Loved the sauce had a nice tang. My favorite pizza. I traveled 45 mins for this and it was worth it.

Perhaps the high expectations hurt my view, but I was expecting to be blown away. You can win me over with a nice crust and the cheese and sauce was the best part!

Ehh- very basic. House salad simple lettuce and tomato. My appetizer. My wife had it for Main with salmon. A couple of tiny pieces. Since I had my kids with me had a large pie. Half buffalo chicken half peppers and mushrooms. On pepper/mush side- Sauce was very light and thin. No discernible flavor. Likewise thin layer of cheese - no flavor jumping out at me- all I got out of slice was crunch from crust and flavor of green pepper. Yelp and one bite rating of 8.2 to 8.6 way off. Disappointed. Cost of pie $33. Plus I traveled 20 minutes to get to place. Would not come back unless I had a gift cert.

Went with one Sicilian and one regular. Both were reheats which definitely detracts especially since the Sicilian was not hot enough. Regular was very good, what I cal NY style pizza and Dave calls football pizza. Very good crisp and crust. The cheese tasted especially good...maybe they use higher end? Crust very crispy and tasty. Very oily. Very good overall but nothing to travel for. Sicilian is generally not my thing and though slice was tasty...did nothing for me.

Some of the best Sicilian slices I’ve ever had. I think the regular is better than what most people think is. Great crunch, well done, sauce is absolutely excellent.
