Uncle Joe's Restaurant and Pizzeria

Cooked perfectly, great cheese and great sauce. Best pizza on Long Island so far! First time here but was treated like I’ve been here 100 times.

This is about as close as you’re gonna get to an average slice of pizza... and average is good, right? Football pizza to the max. Nothing stands out, it’s safe. Thin, liiiitle crisp, the right amount of cheese/sauce. Very average. I’d get it again, certainly.

Solid pizza. Nothing spectacular as far as the plain goes but it wasnt bad either. Could of been cooked just a but longer. Slight crisp on the bottom and on the lighter side with the amount of sauce. A little greasiness but not overboard. The Sicilian i had was better. It was thick, thicker than the picture shows. Very pillow like dough that feels bouncy like a memory foam pillow that pushes back into the roof of your mouth and the bottom was buttery and had the thinnest layer of crisp. Very good. 7.9 on the sicilian. They had lots of good looking specialty pies and one in particular called an ‘Old Fashioned” that had mounds of this big chunky super thick narinara or something on top. Im kicking myself for not getting it. The next person who walked in behind me seen it and his eyes lit up as he told the really nice people behind the counter that he wanted it.

Great pizza place, great Italian dinner foods. Can’t go wrong with uncle joes regular slices, but you stay for the specialty slices/dinners. That’s a review.

Good structure, no flop. No grease. Sauce was ok. Half of the crust was crispy and half was doughy. Good football slice.

Very good pepperoni pizza. Sauce is really good, the crust is delicious...garlic knots are unreal!!

Good crunch right amount of grease, heavy on the tomato not in a bad way, above average not quite upper echelon

The Best pizza in Lake Grove. Great standard slice (Football pizza). Ask for the slice well done! Wide variety of “fancy pizza” also available. Chicken parm slice is top notch!
