Uncle Giuseppe’s !! First pizza slice!

There are some ridiculous artificially inflated scores bolstering the overall average into the 8s. While this pizza definitely isn’t that good, it’s not that bad either. This is a traditionally round football pizza, a family-friendly Friday night neighborhood pie. The dough is quite tasty, relatively crispy, with a firm undercarriage and exquisitely crunchy crust. The cheese is fairly standard, harboring a decent amount of grease, but very manageable. The sauce is somewhat sweet, very much “pizza flavored,” not overly prevalent but not a dry pie either. This is very straight forward pizza, nothing fancy, no frills, just Jersey football pizza you can set your watch to and eat every day. Reliably solid, the terrific texture matches the delicious taste. Unfortunately, the inflated rating gives a bit of false hope and places unfair expectations on a very good pizza pie, but certainly not travel-worthy.

Beware of extremely high pizza reviewers who have never rated another pizza !! Inflates the score and is deceptive . Good Pizza

Saw the high score and had to make a detour while I was working. Got the plain and margarita. Both were razor thin and nice coloring. Plain was very floppy with no crisp. Ratios were on point but the sauce didn't have much flavor. Crust was dried out felt like they didn't keep it in the oven long enough so I had to give it 5.7. The margarita had better crisp and better taste. The fresh mozzarella and grated cheeses was the star of the show. The basil had no flavor and was dried like a leaf in the fall. The sauce was chunky and sweet. It could have used more seasoning like garlic to make it pop. Still enjoyed it more then the plain so I have it a 7.1 which averages to 6.4. I went in at 4pm so maybe I didn't get there best so I would try to go back and give them another shot but as of now 8.4 is way too high.

Crust was nice and crunchy, but I didn’t get much flavor out of the sauce or the cheese. Super friendly place, will definitely be back to try more

Uncle Louies thin, crispy slice with thinly cut eggplant on top!!! so delicious. also great with spinach. :)

Really yummy, even if the slide was cold before it still taste great!! Cant wait to try the fresh pies😩‼️

The best pizza in New Jersey! Uncle Louie’s is a family favorite for sure! We order from Uncle Louies at least once a week, sometimes more! Their pizza crust is crispy and the cheese was hot and gooey! A great slice!

This was an amazing slice! The cheese was perfectly melted and there was the perfect amount of sauce. There was also very little flop. Overall great slice.

Perfect plain slice of pizza! Crispy thin crust with no flop. Sauce had the perfect flavor and cheese was not too salty.

Really good Margherita pie highly recommended. This may be my new neighborhood spot, there deep dish looks great as well

Served hot in 2-3 minutes with a hard Montvale crisp and zero Jersey flop. First Bite Score: 6.9 The sauce is sweet, under seasoned with a mild tang. The mozzarella is very good quality but just a tad soupy with average salinity. The dough recipe is top notch. It is very light, crunchy with decent seasoning and texture. The undercarriage has very nice heat bubbles. Sub Score: 7.2 SAUCE: needs a bit more salt and less sweetness. MOZZARELLA: needs more time under the heat and a little more added to the pie in general. Dough: the crust in perfect order, I would change nothing about it. Final Score...

The plain pizza: 7.3 so this plain pizza is ur average good town plain pizza joint. They have good crunch and not too much flop. The flavor and ingredients are good. Its a good average slice 7.3 The margarita: 9.1 now this score Might be slightly high, i was bordering 8.9-9.1 but since its my town and its new, it got the 9.1. i love this shit, its not too heavy, it tastes good every time. Im a big sauce guy and the sauce on this pie is to die for. So fresh, so tasty. I could it this pizza all day for any occasion. Highly recommend, hopefully dave comes to taste this pizza

Both grandpa pizza and plain cheese pizza get a 6.8. Crust was pretty good on both. Plain cheese pizza was a little greesy and had some tang in the sauce.
