Uncle Menny's Original Greek's Pizzeria

About an 8.1 quite good for a small local place.

I tried to give a better rating since the service here was fantastic. But damn. This was some bad pizza. I haven’t been here since 2001 or so and now I remember why. It is a mixture of Fazolis and Digourno frozen pizza. Zero flavor to it. Very very bland. I’m trying my best to write a positive but I can’t. Cheese tastes like it came out of a Sams Club bag. Sauce has zero kick or flavor to it...almost like spaghetti sauce tossed on a Boboli crust. I was bored eating this and I love pizza. There are soooo many good pizza places in Valpo, but this isn’t one of them. I feel bad writing this because I had good service, but this is a pizza review not a waitress review. 2.9. Maybe 2.5.....but I’m in a good mood. That’s a review.

Good pizza. Was a bit floppy and could use a little more sauce, but tasted good.

garlic knots are much better

Greasy and crust did not have the desired level of crisp. A little chewy. Sauce was ok, but nothing to rave about, but I did end up eating a few slices.
