Uncle Mikey's Brick Oven Pizza

Uncle Mikey's is one of the best in the area. The crust was fantastic, but the cheese was heavy handed for a thin crust. I would have preferred an extra minute or two in the oven. The table next to me definitely benefited from some extra time in the oven, giving me high hopes when I saw theirs come out. Definitely inconsistent cooking times.

Best Pizza I’ve had in the Myrtle Beach area.

Bar pizza. Thin crust. Good crisp. Little greasy. Strong LEO support!! Needed a little more flavor

Very cheesy with very little sauce, which was the downfall. Very large slices, an 18 inch could probably feed 3. Very nice staff.

Good crisp. Very thin. Good cheese/sauce ratio. Could use more tang. On the greasy side, but some of that was from the pepperoni. Cool vibe. Nice support of law enforcement. Owner apparently from Massachusetts with family on the force.

A little floppy and greasy. But, easily the best pizza in the area by a wide margin. A big plus is fresh dough. Would I drive an hour for it? No, so not quite an 8. But, I'll drive past 4 other places to eat here. Plus, Uncle Mikey is a national treasure!

Really solid pizza. Good char on the bottom, not much flop even after a 20 min ride back to the house. Held a good chew to the crust, and wasn't too doughy. Not much sauce in the center, which I prefer, but had good flavor. Overall will probably be my go to pizza for the area. The owner is fantastic as well. Highly recommend.

A little floppy. Crust is doughy and not crispy. Heavy cheese can’t b even taste the sauce . Have had better here. Could have been a bad pie. Will order another time and review again

Flop test is little flop. Even sauce to cheese ratio. Crust has good taste however is on the chewy side .

Good solid pizza

Pizza joint with decent pizza and great customer service. The cheese within the pizza was the best part of it overall, but lacked a tang in the pizza sauce. Service: A+ Presentation: B+ Cheese: A- Sauce: C+ Crust: B Texture: B

This pizza is absolute trash and all of these reviews are the same. You idiots have no idea what good pizza is. I read these reviews thinking I was ordering decent pizza while I was on vacation, boy was I wrong. Never again will I order pizza down here. The sauce tasted like some canned hot garbage. You don’t throw around 7s and 8s like they are candy. It’s a disgrace to davey pageviews that guys left those reviews.

Really solid.. especially around here! Wish that sauce was a little sweeter, but that’s just my personal preference! Cheers

One bite, you know the rules! Pizza had the NY flop with little to no grease. The fold was AMAZING! The sauce was plain to me. Pizza was cooked perfectly. Overall it was a good pizza.
