Uncle Pete's Pizza

Seems to be the neighborhood favorite, so I’m glad that I was finally able to give it a try. The pizza itself features a thicker thin crust than normal, which makes the pizza a bit heavy. The sauce was savory, and there was an appropriate amount of it on the pizza. Although there was a vast amount of cheese, I wish it was spread better throughout the whole pie, as certain slices had so much that the cheese would slide off as you took a bite, while other slices were lacking cheese in certain spots. Overall, an okay pizza spot in the Downtown Naperville area.

Been meaning to check them out for a while as it’s clearly a neighborhood favorite. Ordered for lunch during the week. I asked for well done, but I think it got pulled a little early, because as I waited for it, some asshole submitted an online order for 16 XL’s when they only had one guy working. I’m not going to fault him for that. Regardless, the crust was still crispy and very good. This is a heavy pizza despite being thin crust, which I found to work. There was some run off from the vast amount of cheese, but also because I was burning my mouth eating it piping hot. It was filing. Sauce was savory. Next time I’ll request sausage under the cheese. Seemed to fall off when you pick up a slice. Overall, this is a very good spot and should be in everyone’s rotation if you live in Naperville.

Way undercooked in the middle… threw more than half of the pizza in the trash

Cheese is the star here. Solid thin crust pizza overall, but sauce and crust could use a bit more pizazz..get it 😉

Quality sauce, good amount of cheese/toppings. Could use an extra minute or two to crisp up crust. Went with the extra thin.
