Uncle Vinny's Pizzeria

Picture does not do it justice. The best pizza I’ve found in the Land O Lakes / Hudson area. Cooked perfectly with a good crisp and great undercarriage. Super thin.

As others have stated this place is now called Uncle Vinny’s. If I was just going by taste this pizza would be a 7.1 This is a good tasting average pizza. Sauce and cheese are good and tasty. Why it dipped into the 6’s is because the pizza was filled with bubbles. If this pizza was a 13 year old I’d be buying it cases of clearasil. I do not like bubbles on my pizza and I especially don’t like lot’s of bubbles on my pizza like I got tonight. Maybe you’ll be luckier than me.

FINALLY…. I found a “go to” pizzeria in Hudson, FL. The crust is just right. Tight, consistent, foldable. Good crunch on the outside and a nice chew on the inside. Undercarriage is very good. Slightly charred and like the crust, crunchy undercarriage with a nice chew on the inside. The sauce is good. Reminds me of the good places in Rozzie. Tony’s (in Westin) and Pleasant Café (Roslindale). Cheese is bar pie cheese. My kind of cheese! Pulls nice, bites nice. Doesn’t slide off the undercarriage like a Millennial slides out of bed on a Saturday afternoon. This is a pie worth the travel. Gas station heat lamp to school lunch lady pizza. You’ll feel the dead weight in you. Hard pass (pun intended). Atmosphere and service adds/drops up to .5 points: Add 0.0 for polite service Add 0.1 for good service Add 0.2 for great service Add 0.3 for phenomenal service Add 0.4 for legendary service Add 0.5 for epic service that can only be done here Subtract 0.1 to 0.5 for meh, distracted, bad, awful, and find another job, respectively.
