Uncle Vito's Slice of NY

The small is small, go for the large for a couple bucks more. For a NY style pizza it’s average.

I’m from Brooklyn so, I’m pretty discerning. I did appreciate the cornmeal crust as it gave it a little bit of crunch however, I think if they left it in a little longer, that may have made a difference. Ok overall. Much better than the cookie cutter pizza joints.

One bite, everyone knows the rules in Sacramento. Uncle Vito’s is named after that one family member that gets a little too drunk at the BBQ, wedding or little league game. In between yelling at the umpire about balls and strikes, he finds time to tell you a dirty joke that makes you look over your shoulder before laughing....luckily a pizza parlor opened just for him! The slices are large and have a lot of cheese...perfect to soak up that last beer/shot that he (or you) didn’t need.

Bar was set to high based on reviews or I caught them on a bad day....lots of flop too much cheese for a NY slice. Looked like it would have crisp but none

Sicilian Style today Frankie, it’s called the wise guy. Square cut a huge NY flop w/ a whole lotta cheese and doughy crust , there was a slight crunch at the end of the crust nothing to write home about. There wasn’t much grease on this slice which is good. No zip or tang to be found....I’m gonna go 6.3

Good crisp.. needs a lot more sauce!

You put yourself behind the 8 Ball when you say “Slice of NY” outside of New York. This slice was piping hot outa the oven, cheese was melted well, no flop, little bit of oil, and the crust texture was unique. They have an unlimited slice lunch special, and I’m going in for #2.

It you're looking for a true taste on NY, complete with that New York flop, then look no further than Uncle Vitos. This place consistently serves good pizza, you can set your watch to it. Plus the cooks a Boston fan, so there's always that.
