Union Squared Pizza - Detroit Style

The almost perfect Detroit style. Crispy cheese crown, pillowy dough, awesome sauce.

Pleasantly surprised by this. Edges of the crust are nice, ingredients fresh.

No idea why the scores here are so low. Very good Detroit style pizza. Light undercarriage, crunchy crust, good sauce to cheese ratio.

He hated it

Solid Detroit style. Thick crispy dough, some cheese above, and a bunch of sauce on top. Surprisingly not much flavor in the dough. I thought it would be more fermented like deep dish. Very mild flavor overall. Anyhow, great choice for E-Town.

Detroit style. Very good pizza. Would check out if I’m the area.

Bonus points for uniqueness in the Chicagoland area of deep dish and imitation New York slices
