V & V Paesano Pizzeria

Was in the Bartlett area over on a weekend trip. Tried this little joint. 14 inch extra thin extra sauce half pepperoni/half sausage for just under $20. It was pretty solid. Cheese was good sauce too. Sausage and topping were ok. Crust still a bit too thick for me even with an extra thin. All in all it was good

The sauce was not spread out evenly. Half of it was light sauce and the other half had to much sauce. It was pretty good. I would go back.

Pizza was alright. Not bad, but doesn’t live up to the hype of everyone saying it’s the best pizza in the area. It was thin and crispy, but nothing else really jumped out at me from a flavor standpoint. Could’ve used a little more sauce too.

First review so I thought I would start with my hometown favorite. I don't like it because it's familiar. I like it because it's good and consistent. The sauce is delicious without being too sweet. The crust is crispy and firm and the cheese is not a blob of mass pooling in the center of the pie. They use a small amount of corn meal on the bottom to give it that little extra crispness.

Ok Frankie, one bite everybody knows the rules. V & V makes a seriously good pie and may be my favorite in the area. I ordered the Florentine this time. A bit of grease, but zero flop. Pretty good crust and lots of cheese so you won’t find any East Coasters folding this bad boy. 8.3, I think that’s a fair score.

Best pizza in the area. I exercise only so that I can eat an entire medium from here once a week. Maybe twice.
