Alright so I went to this Italian place called Vai’s. Not known for their pizza, but they still put a nice personal pie on my plate. It tastes better than it looks, I will say. The crust was airy and had good char around the edges while providing good flavor in the middle. The sauce was not the most flavorful, but they actually put enough on and made up for it with the Italian seasoning and of course the giardiniera on it. While I opted to not stick with my traditional pepperoni review, I still believe I was given a fair opportunity to rate the pizza for what it is. After taking into consideration all the factors that went into this pizza, it came out as a 7. Rookie score, but it’s a 7 pizza. And for those who don’t know, 6 is mid, 7 is “I’ll take another slice,” 8 is “I’m eating the entire pizza,” 9 is “This is heaven,” and we don’t talk about the rest. That’s a review.
