Valentina's Pizzeria & Wine Bar

By far one of the best New York style pizzerias I've been to in the south. On the 7th day God rested, and if this restaurant was around He would have ordered a few pies. Starting with the Bruschetta was a good choice. The freshness of the tomatoes matched with the balsamic glaze really showed me what kind of experience I was in for. Next the pizza. I took one bite of the Valentina Pizza and my heart stopped. I started seeing stars and thought it was my time. Thank God for my pacemaker because I wasn't ready to leave that pizza yet. I even told my ex-wife about how good it was and I hate her. The symphony of flavors brought from the chorizo, sweet onions, bacon, and balsamic glaze make your mouth water so much your taste buds need shower caps. A night here is an unforgettable experience unlike my time at other Madison restaurants. The staff is attentive and pleasant to deal with, the music is perfect, and the new patio is beautiful. If you find yourself in town and looking for food that's actually worth the time and money, this is the spot.
