Consistent with the other pies in the area, this is another pretty standard football pizza. The dough is somewhat soft but firm enough, not much floppage. The crust has decent crunch but it’s a kind of “faux crisp,” not from a good char but more of a cardboard-like texture with a boringly bland taste. They use Grande mozzarella which is a top quality cheese; thickish but melted well with flavor that is always on-point due to very minimal grease. The sauce is sweet but lacks spice; rather tasty but it needs some kick. Bursting with terrific plum tomato flavor, the sauce is just missing some punch to give it a little distinction. The cheese-to-sauce ratio is slightly off, leaning more towards the cheese. Overall, this is a better than average pie; while it doesn’t dazzle, it’s solid, yet unspectacular. This is a strip mall football neighborhood pizza, an anytime pie. Though not travel-worthy, it serves its purpose as a quality everyday pizza.
