Varasano's Pizzeria

Just a terribly disappointing pie when you open the box. $25 for this and a root beer. About 7 inches across. They got .8 for flavor and 2.0 for being a failure.

This was crispy as hell w/ zero flop. Would have liked different cheese but it deserves at least a 7.4.

Impeccable crunch, and for an airport…take my money!

My first ever airport Neopolitan pizza and it wasn’t bad. I figured with a three hour layover at the busiest airport in the world I mind as well get a review in. It wasn’t cooked very evenly, but the parts that were cooked had a nice bite to it. The sauce was pretty standard, but in the middle of the pie had a bunch of oregano dumped in the middle. I guess it provided some flavor, but I didn’t really have an opinion on it. The cheese was alright, but it had an extremely sharp smell which concerned me at first but it had a milder taste thankfully. It was definitely not a bad airport pizza at all. It’s a great place to have a beer and listen to someone play some tunes on the piano during a layover.

It’s pretty good for airport pizza.

A flop free Neapolitan in an airport. Tangy sauce and a nice blend of cheeses. Didn’t see it coming!

I wanted to like it based on appearance and the feel of the crust (thin and crisp), but it just completely lacked flavor. The cheese and the sauce was proportioned well, but both were shockingly bland. I know it’s an airport pie (and I’ll say the price was fair considering that) but the place is set up nice and the kitchen looks legit. Guys making it did consistent job on each pie. Only thing lacking here is the ingredients, but in a big way.

Airport pizza. House special with garlic and pancetta. Very crispy and piping hot. Fantastic thin crust.

I wanted to like this pizza. It’s light, fluffy, good undercarriage, some flip….but…it’s so bland. The cheese and sauce is bland. The pizza is covered in olive oil. It needs more salt and flavor overall then it might reach the 6’s. It’s unfortunate.

This pizza tastes like what it would be if your friend bought a pizza oven and made pizza for the first time ever and you have to pretend to like it because he’s your friend. This pizza is trash. (Of course, this is just my personal opinion) Super greasy, and absolutely nothing about it stood out. There is a sign up on the wall that says, “Could be the most delicious pizza in America” quoted from a magazine and I’m disgusted to know that someone in the world actually believes that. Wow! Don’t waste your money here, seriously.

Pepperoni pizza.. by far the greasiest pie I've ever had. Turned everything soggy, would not recommend

One of the better pies I’ve had in Buckhead. The charr is nice. Crust is airy. Slice is thinner then I’d expect. Definitely will order again

Pretty good for an airport

For airport pizza, this is an all-time great. Not much flop and a good taste to the sauce, although they did skimp a little on it. A very good pie and good service as well.

Fancy pizza. Crunchy. Light. Very tasty. If you are in Atlanta airport A. Try it you wont be disappointed

Good crust, basic wood fire taste, sauce and cheese were present but overall lackluster, still a great pie for the airport and way easier than the Chick-fil-A line

Got the margherita di bufala with fennel sausage and pepperoni. Great flavor but didn't have much of the chunky San marzanos I was expecting. Not much buffalo mozz either. I could also tell the dough was still too cool when it was cooked. I'm sure the pizza at the restaurant is better. Waitress was great and apologized for the new pizza cook.

Very good for the airport

This thin crust pizza did not disappoint! Unfortunately the pizza was floppy and there was a bunch of grease toward the center of it… My favorite part was the flavor of the crust! 6.4/10. That is all.

Buffalo and Cappa pizza

Zero flop, needs just a little more sauce but still delicious!

Inconsistency within the firmness of the crust. Half soggy half burnt. Good sauce and flavor. Sparse cheese.
