Vargos Pizzeria

Damn… To start, this place has some odd hours. Usually not open until 5 or so, I just happen to stop by when I saw the open sign. The slices have been sitting for a while, contributing to the stiff, almost stale crust. The sauce isn’t that bad but it’s spread so thin, I can’t tell what’s in it. The cheese isn’t good, it tears off in chunks and again, these slices are old. The pepperoni. Holy smokes, it’s spicy. Left a tingle on my lips. It’s not as crispy as I though with it being in the warming oven for at least a few hours. No re deck, left me with a warm like slice. Would a fresh pie warrant a better score? Maybe. Until I give a re-review from a fresh pie. Stay away from the slices…
