Verrazano Pizza

I wanted to love this place and it came as a recommendation. The place itself is a solid pizza joint, but the pizza was lackluster.

This is the place all other pizza shops in Vegas aspire to be. The moment you walk in you know you’re in a neighborhood spot. The guys in the shop have been there for decades and have watched all of us grow up. In fact, the new owner is one of the neighborhood kids who grew up and actually bought the place. I travel often for work (including NYC) and this pizza is what I grade all others by. Fresh dough, quality cheese, and the right amount of crisp. Best spot in Vegas hands down.

20 years ago this pizza would be in the 9’s. Maybe I’m getting old. Been eating this pizza since I was a toddler.

Great taste, the pepperoni one was too greasy. but both good.

Good slice, a little grease and a little flop

Very good pizza nothing worth slapping your mother over but still worth a stop if you’re in the area

Hands down best pizza in Vegas. If your looking for traditional New York pizza this is it. No flop on this pizza and the crust is just right. Love this place.

1/2 al pastor 1/2 pepperoni. As Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys would say “greeeeaaaassy”. Pepperoni was better than Al Pastor. Not bad pizza, pretty pricey though.

Solid slice

For the moment ALL of my followers have been highly anticipating....THE REVIEW.... First thing I notice that as it just came out of the oven, has a bit of grease. Of course as my review buddy Slink5282 forgets, they will heat it up for you. I do appreciate a good crisp as this has...both the cheese and sauce blend well and have a bit of a generic taste. Football pizza...Old school place that provides a good, solid slice...check in and follow. I will see you all next week!

Crisp crust, pizza was ok, not great, not terrible! I’m going with mediocre at best!

Old school pizza, been here forever. Great slice of pizza. Crust, sauce, cheese all good. Expect sass from the owner if you ask a stupid question.

Old school pizza joint, been here since I was a kid. Good flop but a little greasy. Sauce and cheese flavor is average. Pizza is good, but it’s not gonna blow your balls off. Good lunch special. If your close by it’s worth a stop for lunch.

Was gonna subtract a point or so since the owner was being a tool but im jere to review pizza not people. So about the pizza... no flop, great cheese, tangy sauce, and crisp crust. Good pie.

One of the few slice shops in town, Verrazano is the epitome of football pizza. Little flop, light grease. Can’t ask more out of a $10 pie, especially in Vegas. One bite, everybody knows the rules.
