When you come to work early enough to vulture on night shifts leftover pizza pies from Vesta Wood Fired…I think margarita slice would have crack 7.5. For prosciutto tomato pie slice that seem overwhelm with strong cheese, the score I gave still seems solid…

Went margherita which eliminated the grease. Crust was pretty floppy, but good flavor. Good zing and great cheese. Solid pie.

Good pie, but a little burnt - and I like it crispy! Cheese and sauce tasted fresh. Wouldn’t seek it out again, but not a bad slice by any means.

Sauce seemed sweet, I enjoyed it. The undercarriage was charred nicely. The cheese didn’t blow my mind at all. Though I enjoyed it and could eat a lot of it due to the thinness of the crust, it wasn’t anything spectacular at the end of the day. Not a bad pie to get in the area with a buddy. Now if I had a family to feed, I would surely pick another place as I could eat most of this large pie myself. So to feed a family you would need to get a few pies and for 17 bucks a pop, I would say look elsewhere in that case

I think Dave is pretty spot on with this one, good pizza; not a wonderful pizza. Nice crust, a bit floppy. One odd complaint- slightly too much cheese for a pie like this, could be better with less.

Can’t really put my finger on it. But for a NJ.com top 3 Bergen County pizza place it didn’t wow me. Sauce wasn’t anything special. Crust was a bit thick for a wood fire pizza, crust had a decent char and initial crisp to it though. Crust throughout was a bit doughy. Had to really pull to get a bite. The mozzarella, I’ve had better. Shame the pizza wasn’t better. The app we had was great and the drinks were well made.

Good pizza. A little too doughy for me. I have definitely had better. And I wouldn’t go out of my to get back here. But it’s a very nice place.

This pizza is a disgrace. To rank this abomination above Santillo's is an insult to pizza lovers everywhere. Vesta pizza is soggy. The cheese is sour. It is WAY too thick. This is not a pizza worthy of the number 1 spot in NJ and Pete Genovese should be ashamed if he thinks Vesta is good pizza. Save a trip and go to Santillo's instead to taste the REAL number 1. Sorry Dave, but you might’ve been duped on this one. And given the kid’s pie so....
